Our after-school program helps students discover their skills and become passionate about using their talents in life. All this is done in the context of meaningful relationships and fun environments.

We offer homework assistance, tutoring, computer time, supervised recreation, life skills & anger management, sports education, music lessons, art, karate, dance, drama, field trips and more!

All this is FREE, but registration is required, as space is limited. Spots are filling up fast, so mail in your registration information today!

WHAT TIME DOES AFTER-SCHOOL START AND END?
We open our doors at 2:30 p.m., but we realize students will arrive at various times, as their schools dismiss them. After-school lasts until 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Our first day will be Sept. 7, 2010. We follow holidays and inclement weather schedule from the Mercer County School Board.

WHAT IS THE COST?
We are pleased to offer this program for FREE to all students in grades 1 through 8, but registration is required.

HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILDREN?
Fill out the registration forms and mail them to P.O. Box 777, Bluefield, WV 24701. Or drop them off at the Wade Center.

IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?
Transportation options are located on the registration form.  Please note that no transportation is provided at the end of the day. Students must be picked up promptly from the lower parking lot at 8:00 p.m. Failure to do so will result in suspension from the program.
